On their macOS Mojave page, Avid has said this about Sibelius… If you have to use 10.14 then make sure to avoid lower buffer sizes (64 samples or lower at 48kHz, 128 samples or lower at 96kHz, 256 samples at 192kHz) It is recommended that users refrain from updating to 10.14 until further notice. Avid is working to find a resolution for this problem. Initial testing of Pro Tools with macOS 10.14 has shown serious problems with CPU performance at lower buffer sizes. On their macOS Compatibility page they have said this… We understand there are some specific issues between macOS Mojave and Pro Tools 2018 and that the team at Avid are hard at work resolving them. Please refer to Pro Tools System Requirements for the latest updates on Mojave compatibility. We understand that with the release of Mojave that you may have some questions on how Pro Tools is operating in terms of compatibility.
